This old clipping was provided by Sabina Reddy. Though there's no date, we believe it was some time in the 1950s.

UPDATE: Thanks to both Kilcullen historical super-sleuths Geraldine Nugent and Mary Orford, we have the date of the article as 10 October 1953 in the Leinster Leader, and Geraldine found a note in the Nationalist and Leinster Times that the work was to begin in the first week of April that same year.
