An Post Irish Book Awards category winners tonight

Tonight, for the first time ever, audiences around the world will be able to tune in to discover the best of Irish writing with the An Post Irish Book Awards.

And remember, Kilcullen has a runner in Hazel Gaynor, with her best-selling The Bird in the Bamboo Cage.

After tonight's announcement, you can vote for the overall An Post Irish Book of the Year on the awards website anpostirishbookawards.ie — everyone who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win €100 of National Book Tokens.
