Vivian Clarke's Menswear now 'View and Collect'

Clarkes Menswear in Newbridge is now offering a 'View and Collect' service via Facebook to continue facilitating customers  while the shop is closed under Level 5 restrictions, writes Brian Byrne.

Run by Vivian Clarke of Kilcullen for more than three decades, most of those with his brother Brian who retired some years ago, the shop is popular with many Kilcullen families. It also has a loyal customer base across many counties, of people who appreciate the very personal service of the business.

The new Clarkes Menswear Facebook page is showcasing the stock in for what would normally be the busiest time of the year, in the run up to Christmas. "We have to stay closed for the moment, but the stock is in, and this is the only way people can see what we have," Vivian says. "Anyone who is interested in a particular item can call me, or direct message on Facebook, and I can arrange for them to collect at the door by appointment."
