Day change to November Remembrance Mass

The November Remembrance Mass for those who died during the past year will take place at the 11 o'clock Mass on Sunday 8th November, writes Mary Dillon.

The break with the traditional first Friday in November date is due to coronavirus restrictions. The mass will be available on the radio (FM 107) and on the web.

A list of those whose funerals took place in Kilcullen and Gormanstown churches has been compiled. Their names will be called at the mass and their names placed on the remembrance tree. A candle will be lit to remember all who have died.

If anyone wishes to have their loved one who died in the last year added to the list of those to be remembered at the Mass they may do so by calling Mary Dillon on 085 1119898.

This is s a particularly difficult time to lose a loved one. It is important to remember those who have died and the loss suffered by family and friends.
