Clarkes Menswear is Kevin O'Ryan's favourite shop

Vivian Clarke and Clarke's Menswear in Newbridge got a nice plug last week on At The Races, from TV presenter and jockeys' agent Kevin O'Ryan, writes Brian Byrne.

The clip was part of a longer one where Kildare Town native O'Ryan was giving a push to a number of Kildare businesses, including Harte's Restaurant in Kildare, and McDonnells Bar in Newbridge just across from Clarkes.

"Kevin is a good friend and a good customer," Vivian told the Diary last night, deservedly chuffed at the recommendation, which was part of a regular item with the #ForTheLoveOf Kildare tag.
