Electrical waste dumped on New Abbey Road

The increasingly noticeable uptick in dumping happened again over the weekend, with this bit of electrical goods found on the New Abbey Road, writes Brian Byrne.

Similar waste was on the other side of the road. The really sad part about this is that there's no charge for disposing of electrical waste.

Both the Kildare County Council facilities, in Athy and at Silliot Hill, are open on weekdays, with longer than normal hours, so there's really no excuse.
