New issue of The Blue and Gold

The second issue of The Blue and Gold, CPC's own student magazine, has now been published, writes Brian Byrne.

The cover picture of the 'All Shook Up' poster is referred inside by a report on the preparations for the annual TY musical, with a note that the main issue for the performers is 'putting on American accents'.

There's also a story about one of the Fourth Year Mini Companies, which is making popular self-care packs and giving some of the proceeds to the Aware organisation for mental health.

A promotion for the Music Club, a bargain at only €12 for a term, says it is a 'fun place to jam out some funky songs'.

There's an interview with one of the school's vice principals, Ms Lennon, who says that in a perfect world she would be able to both carry out her responsibilities as a VP and also teach her beloved Maths and Physics subjects.

A picture parade records the visit of French students to CPC. There's an article on extra curricular activities available in the college, and a movie review of The Joker.

In sport there's a review of the CPC v Enniscorthy Junior Boys GAA game, and also of the Senior Boys soccer event against Naas.

Another successful publication from CPC's own editorial team.
