Masses continue in Kilcullen, but numbers limited
Public masses in Kilcullen Parish are continuing until further notice, but with a limit of 100 people in the church, writes Brian Byrne.
Fr Mackey told the Diary that the Dublin Diocese has 'no universal ban' but that the limit of 100 attendees would apply.
He said it wasn't clear what would happen if more than 100 people turned up. "Health and Safety would be after us if we locked the doors," he noted. "One option is for people to leave if the number goes over. The other is for the priest to walk off the altar. It's a whole new learning appearance."
Masses at the usual times can be watched live on the church TV. An audio broadcast is available on 107FM.
