More in the Kildare South contest

Two more in the running in Election 2020 Kildare South, along with those mentioned in last night's post, writes Brian Byrne.

Cllr Patricia Ryan is in contention for Kildare South for Sinn Fein, and Sarah Walshe as an Independent for the Army wives and partners support group WPDF.

Cllr Ryan has been at the front of a number of local campaigns from the school in Monasterevin to the Hospital in Portlaoise to the dumping fiasco that is plaguing the Curragh.

Sarah Walshe lives in Newbridge and is a strong campaigner for better pay and conditions for Defence Forces personnel. She has a GoFundMe page to help pay for her campaign

There may yet be a few more. But it's getting interesting.
