Local area projects considered by Kilcullen FG branch

A meeting of the Kilcullen branch of Fine Gael took place in Kilcullen last night which was attended by Deputy Martin Heydon and local Councillors Tracey O'Dwyer, Peggy O'Dwyer and Ivan Keatley.

The members present received an update on the work of the local representatives on projects in Kilcullen and surrounding areas from road repairs and transport issues, housing developemnts and the taking in charge of local housing estates and the recent passing of the Council Budget where Fine Gael ensured there was no rate increase for Kildare businesses.

The upcoming review of the Local Area Plan by Kildare County Council and its implications for the town were discussed, this is a body of work that the branch will continue to focus on in the coming months.

Deputy Martin Heydon reiterated the benefits of a strenghtened Fine Gael team working for Kilcullen and its residents on issues both local and national.
