Dementia workshop this week

A free workshop on dementia care will be held at the Home Instead offices in Newbridge this week, writes Brian Byrne.

The aim of the event is to give family members who are caring for people with dementia ‘the Confidence to Care’. It is being provided in association with World Alzheimer’s Month.

The workshop will run 7pm-8.30pm at Home Instead Senior Care’s office on Main Street, Newbridge, on Thursday 26 September.
