Carve On for Boston trade visit

Kilcullen based company Carve On is one of 15 Kildare businesses and other organisations taking part in a trade mission to Boston which begins next Monday, writes Brian Byrne.

The leather goods luxury craft company already has a number of US corporate customers and will be looking to expand that business on the mission, which is being led by County Kildare Chamber.

Other Kildare companies on the 5-day trip include General Paints Group, Madigan Cashmere, Montery Logistics, Queally Group, S Man Tech, The Johnny Magory Company, Timbercroc, Vivian Cummins Architects, VEI and Zavana Wellness.

Bank of Ireland, Sligo Chamber, Kildare County Council, LEO Kildare and Maynooth University are also participants in the visit.

It's the Chamber's second trade visit of the year, following a visit to Scotland in April. Against the prospect of a no-deal Brexit, it is an opportunity for companies to explore opportunities in the United States. It is the first year of a 5-year commitment to visiting Boston annually.
