If you go down to the Valley today ...

When the Suas Knitting Group yarn decorations were being taken down from the bridge recently, some of the little characters decided they weren't ready to go into forced hibernation, writes Brian Byrne.

So they escaped and headed down the Valley to join the fairies, where they knew they'd be welcomed by the children who wend their way regularly along the Fairy Trail.

Keep an eye out, they're not always immediately visible. But then, they're a little bit on the run, aren't they?
