Tech Services shows its worth

The value of having a computer tech store in town has been brought home to me a number of times since Leo and Rachel Chen set up their business in Kilcullen last September, writes Brian Byrne.

For instance, when my four-year-old iPhone 6 seemed on its last legs, prompting expensive thoughts of getting a new one, a simple replacement of the battery at Tech Services on Main Street has had it operating as good as new since.

When a colleague’s iPhone was having similar short battery life issues, and then it also suffered a cracked screen in her bag, it only took the time to go and have a coffee for her unit to be also as good as new.

And when I recently acquired a new iPad for work and wanted to add an additional level of screen protection, five minutes and less than €20 added that peace of mind.

A few other trips down the road for bits and pieces like charging leads and such have also made it unnecessary any travel further afield.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who has benefited from having their business in town.
