Stories fromTurkey in An Tearmann
Triple Spiral Storytellers are delighted to welcome storyteller Senem Donatan Mohan for an evening of storytelling in An Tearmann on Wednesday 12 June, writes Tim Ditchburn.
Senem will take us to the land of Sultans, Shahzadas, Lalas. We might be puzzled while listening to Turkish riddle stories from Anatolia.
Senem was born in Turkey in 1979. She holds a PhD degree in natural sciences. Besides her science career, she worked as a performing artist, director and dramaturgist in many art projects since 1998. In the last six years, her work has been mainly focused on storytelling. She is one of the founders of Seiba International Storytelling Center in Turkey. Senem tells traditional stories as well as personal stories on national and international stages. Recently, she moved to Ireland and she is looking forward to sharing her stories with the Irish storylovers
