Artist shows drawings thoughts for granite piece

If you've ever wanted to get inside of the mind of Noel Scullion, local artist whose sculpture masterworks include the 'spear' Dun Ailinne monument at Nicholastown and the 'Magician' tribute to Kilcullen Development Association at the bridge, his Facebook page is well worth following, writes Brian Byrne.

He's currently sharing his drawings thoughts on one of his latest projects and as a pictorial essay into how one of his very distinctive and always thought-provoking pieces eventually moves from idea to reality, they're well worth a view.

While teaching art in Cross and Passion College, Noel nurtured artistic and creative ability in many past students. As a regular judge of local children's art in the annual Community Games he's continuing that work.
