Mental health charity to run Naas football blitz

A new charity group set up in April to raise awareness of mental health issues will hold its first event in Naas next month.

The group, OK2TalkIRL, will be a 5-a-side soccer extravaganza in Naas Sports Centre on Saturday 29 June.

There will be 64 teams playing for the Cian Mullally Cup and Shield. All proceeds will be donated to the Samaritans, at the wish of the Mullally family.

It will be a family-friendly event for all ages, beginning at 9am and running through to 7.30pm.
