The passing of Noreen Lynch (Update with arrangements)

The Diary has learned of the death of Noreen Lynch, residing in Kerry but late of Logstown, Kilcullen. She was in her 90s.

Noreen was a very active member of the community during her decades in Kilcullen.

A sister of the late Timmy Lynch, she was involved in the Kilcullen Carnival Committee, and later with the Club 70 organisation which worked to improve various aspects of life in Kilcullen. She was one of the original members of a group in the mid-70s which began the refurbishment of the New Abbey Graveyard.

Noreen died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Care Facility, Kilcummin, Killarney.

Beloved aunt of David, Simon, Brendan, John, Michael and Declan Fuller. Predeceased by her parents Simon and Mary Lynch, her sister Eileen (Fuller), her brother Timmy Lynch, brother-in-law Dr Patrick Fuller and sister-in-law Margaret Lynch.

Noreen is sadly missed by her nephews and their families, her extended family in North Kerry, her many neighbours and friends in Kilcullen and the community of Our Lady Of Lourdes Care Facility, Killarney.

Rosary will take place in O'Shea's Funeral Home, Cathedral Place, Killarney on Wednesday evening at 8.00 pm, 13th February 2019, all welcome.

Funeral will take place in Kilcullen next Monday, 18 February, arriving at the Parish Church in advance of 11 o'clock mass.
