What's arguably a nicer place to find out things than Google?

A local bookshop is one good candidate. In Kilcullen's case, Woodbine Books.

With all the recent hype about vegetarian and vegan diets — neither of which I have to say would be your editor's life choice — for those who are interested, Woodbine's latest main window display is right on topic.

Aside from food, there are interesting volumes on other lifestyle changes for this month of new resolution. I don't do those either.

And the coffee in Woodbine is better than you'll ever get on Google …
