Seasonal gaiety at Kilcullen Seniors party
There was a wonderful festive atmosphere at yesterday's Christmas Party for Kilcullen Seniors, held in Keadeen Hotel, writes Pat Foley.
Music was courtesy of John Kelly and Tommy Lawlor, with many vocal contributions from the attendance adding to the gaiety.
As always in such events, much happens behind the scenes in organising things, and for yesterday the event was a credit particularly to the work of four people.
Jim and Margaret Talbot, Josie Connolly, and Teresa Meaney have been stalwarts of the Kilcullen Seniors Group for many years, and the Keadeen party was a credit yet again to their commitment.
Happy Christmas to them, and to all who were there enjoying the results of their work.
