Public meeting tonight on dealing with anti-social behaviour
Understanding and responding to anti-social behaviour in the community is the theme of the annual public meeting of the Kildare Joint Policing Committee, writes Brian Byrne.
The meeting is tonight, Monday 3 December in Coláiste Lorcáin, Castledermot, beginning at 7pm.
The guest speaker is John Lonergan, former Governor of Mountjoy Prison. The public are invited to attend and participate on the night.
The 34-strong Committee is comprised of a number of Kildare councillors and officials, members of the Oireachtas, An Garda, and representatives of community groups.
