Swim training for Community Games

Swim training at the Curragh Pool is available for those in Community Games swimming, on Friday nights. The sessions are from 8pm for 45 minutes.

Swimmers must live in the Kilcullen Community Games area, must be able to swim a length of the pool unassisted and must be able to safely tread water in the deep end of the pool without the assistance of flotation devices.

They are also required to compete in the Kilcullen Community Games swim gala at the end of the training programme.

A weekly fee of €3 per child or €5 for two or more children applies and they must meet the minimum age qualification criteria required to swim in Community Games swim competitions
