Expansion of Tennis Club proposed
Submissions close on Thursday next on a planning application by Kilcullen Tennis Club for expansion and improvements to its facilities at Logstown, writes Brian Byrne.
The application relates to the refurbishment of two existing tennis courts, installation of two courts and all associated siteworks.
The club also wants to construct a new wall for tennis practice, provide floodlights for all four courts, and build new fencing to the site boundaries and within the site.
A new accessible entrance and associated works is proposed at the existing Clubhouse building entrance, and a new single storey canopy to the rear and side of the building.
Demolition of the existing site entrance and construction of a new recessed entrance is also part of the application.
The file number is 181250 and a decision is provisionally due by 6 December 2018.
