Cheque presented to Irish Cancer Society

Despite being blown out prematurely by high winds, the Kildare relay for Life event in Punchestown earlier in the autumn gathered €68,000 in donations for the Irish Cancer Society.

Pictured with the cheque are members of the Kilcullen Relay Team Conor Williams, Sabina Reddy, and Pat Kelly. The Kilcullen contribution to the total was €4,760.

"What a wonderful amount," Sabina commented. "Thanks to everyone for their support."

The cheque was presented at the event 'wrap-up' party in The Croft Inn in Suncroft last night.
