Drone mystery update

The curious case of the drone hovering over the church and parish grounds on Saturday is solved, writes Brian Byrne.

It was being used to video scenes for a documentary which is currently being developed by a producer-director who is the daughter of a former resident of Nicholastown.

According to Brendan Moran, who spoke with her, the documentary explores the relationship in the Catholic church between Rome and Ireland.
