Memories morning

GAA memorabilia, War of Independence medals, a 1972 programme from Kilcullen Drama Group ... a few of the items already scanned in Kilcullen Heritage Centre for the morning's 'Meitheal of Memories', writes Brian Byrne.

With a grant provided by KDA, the Heritage Centre now has special scanning equipment for the purpose, which will also be used to record all the items currently on the walls and among the shelves of the Heritage Centre itself.

Today's session ends at 1pm, but there will be another tomorrow evening from 7pm-9pm.
