'Macbeth' in 45 minutes

It's not in Kilcullen, but in the interest of promoting young people's drama we're giving this one a shout out.

PlayActing Youth Theatre are presenting a 45-minute rendition of Macbeth in Straffan Community Hall on Wednesday, with proceeds going to charity.

The production has been made possible by a Youth Arts Bursary from Kildare County Council, and there's a cast of 16 in the play, edited and directed by Ursula McGinn. Stage combat is directed by Colin Malone.

There will be two presentations, at 5pm and 6.30pm.
