Billy's Bazaar now open, until Friday

Billy Redmond's Bazaar is open again, running through until Friday evening, writes Brian Byrne.

(NOTE: This is a correction as we reported yesterday that it was only until this evening.)

This time his annual fundraiser is in aid of research into Neurofibromatosis, and runs in the Kilcullen Heritage Centre, from 9am-5pm each day. Once again he is being helped by Jack Lambe, which is probably the reason this picture might seem to be familiar.

Indeed, maybe we should really be calling it Billy and Jack's Bazaar.

There was a brisk first day's business, with a lot of interesting stuff of all kinds. A browse and rummage might be well worth while, as well as being a bit of fun. Especially if you consider that there is a real story or two behind each and every piece in the place.

Billy welcomes donations of anything that is saleable, such as unwanted gifts, small items of furniture, lamps, bric-a-brac, candles, tables and chairs.

He has operated the Bazaar for many years of fundraising for organisations which have included the Irish Wheelchair Association and the Jack & Jill Foundation.

You can contact Billy at 087 6311177 to arrange delivery or collection.
