Stolen fence panels recovered

Five timber panels stolen from the fence on Bishop Rogan Lane in April were recovered at the weekend by gardai, in the Logstown Road area, writes Brian Byrne.

The panels, which were found on Sunday, were reinstalled this morning by members of the Bishop Rogan Park Residents Association.

“I would like to thank Garda Jim Lacey and Sgt Mary Mulroe for all their help, and also the residents of the Logstown Road area,” says Pat Kelly. “I would also like to thank Liam Doran and Ger Shanahan for their help in replacing the panels this morning.”

Pat got the news from Gda Jim while on his way to Tullamore on Sunday to watch the Kildare-Laois match. “So it was two good news stories in the one day,” he says.
