Deadline looms for CPC student Bursaries
A number of Bursaries are available to students of Cross and Passion College to assist with Third Level college expenses, writes Noel Clare. But expressions of interest need to get in fast.
Students who are sitting their Leaving Certificate this year and who hope to attend any third level college (University, IT, PLC etc) are eligible to apply for the bursaries.
Both the Leo Brennan Bursary and the Tom Birmingham Bursary offer a range of supports, ranging from single one off payments to a maximum of €3,500 per year for up to four years of undergraduate study.
Expressions of interest are currently being sought from students. The deadline for such expressions of interest is Monday 19 June.
At this stage all that is needed is the name, address and phone number of the interested student. The letters should be left into the school office. A more detailed application form will then be sent out and the bursaries will be awarded following the issuing of the Leaving Certificate results in August.
