Pump knocked down

The green pump which has been outside The Hideout for many decades was knocked down by a vehicle today, writes Brian Byrne.

Some local people have taken it into safe keeping until the relevant authorities are notified.

The pump hasn't worked for many years but is one of the signature items on Kilcullen's streetscape.

It is hoped to see on CCTV just what happened.

The pump is pictured above getting a coat of Tidy Towns paint last year.
