Sellout night at Moon & Sixpence

It was a sellout performance last night for the Maintain Hope concert performed by The Moon and Sixpence charity band in Kilcullen Town Hall, writes Brian Byrne. But then, both the cause and the music were always going to be top class attractions.

Siobhan and Co in the band were in superb form for the brief time the Diary was able to stay, and we're sure the audience were fully entertained by the time the night ended.

Among them were volunteers from both this locality and other parts of the country who have done their bit on the ground out in Kenya for the charity founded by Gerry O'Donoghue and like-minded friends.

As was said to us, this is the concert which officially starts the Christmas season in Kilcullen. A season where there's a lot of really great entertainment to come.
