Some people just aren't community

Here’s the raw underbelly of Tidy Towns, writes Brian Byrne. The stuff that the volunteers who try and keep the community clean have to deal with. It’s not a pretty sight. And it smells, too.

Sabina Reddy sent us these two photos taken in the Old Kilcullen area. The first at Halverstown Cross consisted mainly of used nappies and drink cans. The second is a bag of tins which once contained dog food.

Sabina suspects they were thrown from a car. Some people’s attitudes stink too …
