Hair of the dog for The Saint and (remaining) friends

It's been only hours since the last of the celebrators at Donal St Leger's 80th birthday party in Fallons took to their beds, writes Brian Byrne.

But Donal is made of stern stuff, and a few of his stoutest friends are currently helping him with the hair of the dog in McTernans.

Out of propriety, we'll not name them … but you all know yourselves.

At least the Diary (not in the picture) has now caught up with the celebrations.

It's a story that could develop ...
