Cllr seeks crossings, pedestrian bridge, for Kilcullen
Kildare County Council is being asked to look at the possibility of providing a pedestrian crossing at the exit to Kilcullen Community Centre, and a railed bridge over Pinkeen Stream (above), to facilitate access to the Cnoc na Greine Road by schoolchildren and their parents, writes Brian Byrne.
In motions Cllr Fintan Brett has put down for discussion at the next meeting of the Naas Municipal District, he is also asking for a pedestrian crossing to be provided at Nicholastown (below) to facilitate local residents to access the nearby sports and community facilities.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber at Aras Chill Dara next Tuesday, 17 May, at 2pm.
