Bill and Jackie to open Vincent's shop officially today
The local St Vincent's shop in Kilcullen moved to a new shop in December and it is having its official opening today Friday, 8 May at 11am, writes Nerilie Watson, with some very special guests — Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin.
The St Vincent's store in Kilcullen has been a huge asset to the community since it first opened five years ago. Customers come from miles around, and while most are there to buy the lovely pre-loved goods, many locals like to just pop in for a chat.
Shop manager Maureen Middleton notes that the money raised through the store goes right back into the region. "St Vincent's ethos revolves around helping people and the Kilcullen store has been invaluable both to the local community and as part of the 50 total shops in Dublin East.
"We're absolutely delighted to have such high-profile and respected personalities like Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin come to open our new store. There will be a great buzz in store that morning and plenty of great offers for guests."
Everyone is welcome to attend the opening from 11am.
