Raffle for the Scouts

Kilcullen Scouts are offering the chance of a weekend in New York for two with spending money of €6,500, selling raffle tickets today in the Scouting Ireland 'Twelve Days of Christmas' initiative, writes Brian Byrne.

Second prize is a similar trip to Paris, and other major prizes include a Samsung smart TV and a weekend in the Monart Health Spa, along with eight other prizes valued at €650 each.

The proceeds from the €2 tickets go to support local scouting and the development of a National Campus for Irish scouting.
