Full-time manager sought for Childcare Centre
A full time manager is being sought for the new Kilcullen Community Childcare Centre.
Kilcullen Community Childcare & Education Centre (KCCEC) is seeking a 'dynamic and visionary' individual for the Centre, which opened earlier this year following more than a decade of effort by the local community to raise funds for it.
This is a new position which will suit an experienced childcare professional seeking an opportunity to shape the expanding service. The full- time position is hands-on and will involve developing services beyond the current pre-school services (33 children in ECCE and playgroup) to maximise the potential of the new purpose-built Centre.
Essential requirements include a relevant third level qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (minimum level 7). Three years' experience in a childcare service will also be required, along with evidence of prior experience of management in an Early Years setting with required competencies in all aspects of service delivery and management, in particular programme planning, financial management and staff supervision.
This is a permanent position, subject to funding. A competitive salary will be paid to the successful candidate with opportunities for growth as the Centre expands.
