'Miscellany' date set

The annual 'Miscellany on Sunday' at the Bermingham family home in Mooretown will be held this year on December 14, writes Brian Byrne.

Once again, it will this year support Fr John Bermingham's missionary work in Mozambique, and the usual food and drink fare includes mulled wine and seasonal mince pies.

We can expect the usual entertainers, and probably some new ones, and the Diary will keep you posted as preparations for the very popular gig evolve.
