Kilcullen CC organises national event

The Kilcullen-based Murphy Surveys Cycling Club has organised the promotion of the National Criterium Championships which take place at Mondello Park on Thursday night, writes Brian Byrne.

The event rides off at 6.45pm and is limited to 60 riders. The race duration is an hour and three laps.

The Championships had been on the verge of cancellation until the Kilcullen club took on the organisation of the race. Liam Walker of Murphy Surveys CC said they were able to do so because their Thursday evenings summer league was over.
