Kilcullen Girls U/12 winning ways

Congratulations to the Girls U/12 Gaelic team on winning the Community Games County Final against Sallins, writes Papillion Rabbitte.

This was a very hard fought game and extremely close until the final quarter, when Kilcullen played some great defence and came out winners on a score of 3-13 to 3-4.

The girls now go forward to play Dunlavin, the winners of Wicklow in the first round of the Leinster competition. Thanks to Ger Breen, Jane Peacock and Pat Devenney for looking after the team.

The Dunlavin game is next Tuesday at 7pm, in Dunlavin.
