Thanks for the 'Memories'

A splendid afternoonJust a quick thank you on behalf of Sylvia and myself to Nessa Dunlea and Mary Orford for the splendid afternoon they organised for Kilcullen Street memories last Sunday afternoon, writes Irene McDonnell.

The many familiar faces brought together, gave us treasured stories to recall and a lot of laughs to share.

For me it felt very much like 'home' and the lovely afternoon tea was reminiscent of those famous birthday parties we all so happily recall in our youth.

For all of you who put so much effort to organise this, may we say thank you. The afternoon will stay a treasured memory for many of us who, though far away, always carry a part of Kilcullen in our hearts.
