KWWSPCA holding Kilcullen events

Functions to help animalsThe Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is having two functions in Kilcullen in June, writes Sally McCaffrey of the KWWSPCA.

On Thursday 13 June, we are having our annual Town Collection outside the Eurospar Supermarket and Nolans Butchers from 9am–5pm as well as a Coffee Morning and Bring and Buy Sale in the Heritage Centre from 10am–2pm. There will be a sale of books, bric a brac, cakes and home produce as well as provision of coffee, tea, etc. Everyone welcome.

On Thursday 27 June we are having a Cookery Demonstration in the Heritage Centre. It is presented by Liz Moore and will be entitled ‘The Flavour of Summer’. It starts at 7pm and will be followed by a wine reception. Tickets are €20 and should be booked in advance by phoning 087 2054955.
