Work experience potential

A number of local businesses have agreed to take on local unemployed people for a day's work experience, the recent meeting of Kilcullen 2017 heard, writes Brian Byrne.

PJ Fagan told the meeting that he has been in contact with several businesses who are prepared to take part in the initiative, as a means to give those affected by employment a chance to look at other options to their current skills.

He was speaking to a discussion on progress under the Enterprise & Employment sub-group of Kilcullen 2017, the implementation group for the community development plan of the same name which was evolved from the the Community Survey commissioned by Kilcullen Community Development.
