Parking signs mooted

The Business Group in Kilcullen 2017 is to look into the possibility of providing parking information signs around Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

At the recent meeting of the group which has undertaken the implementation of the community development plan element of the Community Survey, there was a discussion about the various parking facilities.

Apart from the market square and on-street parking, all other current parking facilities are on private property. These include the Church Car Park, Nolans Car Park, and parking at the rear of the Eurospar Supermarket and premises such as The Good Food Gallery and Brennans Hardware.

The group will engage with the owners of the private facilities to see if they will agree to the provision of signage to their parking areas.
