Gala drama night for Fr Dan

The Gala Night performance of 'Dancing at Lughnasa' on Friday 8th April in Kilcullen's Town Hall Theatre is being held in aid of Fr Dan Noud's work in Tanzania.

The play is generally regarded as one of Brian Friel's best and is being presented by Kilcullen Drama Group.

A cheese & wine reception will begin at 7.15pm on the Gala Night.

Bookings can be made by calling 045 481497, and there are special group rates for students. Tickets can be bought directly from Bernard Berney Chemist.

Set in a Donegal village in the 1930s, 'Dancing at Lughnasa' tells of the hopes of love held by three sisters at the upcoming harvest festival, hopes which will be dashed. Coincidentally, it is also the time when their missionary brother comes home, with his own problems.

A Broadway hit, the play's excellence will be truly matched by the Kilcullen Drama Group, renowned for their own commitment to providing the absolute best of dramatic entertainment.

The Group traditionally gives the proceeds of its opening Gala Night to a local deserving cause.

Please come and support both the Group and Fr Dan.
