St Bridgets is 'Club of the Year'

The St Bridget's Pitch & Putt Club was named 'Club of the Year' at the National Convention of the Pitch & Putt Union of Ireland.

It was the first time the Union has presented such a prize, which was accepted on behalf of the club by Christy Sweeney.

Also at the Convention, club member Liam Sherry was elected Coaching & Development Officer of the Union's National Executive Committee 2011. And Chrissie Byrne was awarded Ireland's top-ranked Lady Player 2010.
