WEATHER

A good deal of cloud about this morning. Mostly dry weather for the rest of the day with sunny spells. Some scattered heavy showers will spread from the east during the late afternoon and evening, and a few may turn thundery towards nightfall. Top temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees in light to moderate northeast winds.

DID YOU KNOW?

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus is hoping to have a vehicle on Mars in 2028, in the form of a rover designed to autonomously collect samples on alien planets. Two of its ExoMars rovers are being field-tested in a quarry near London.
