Financial business moves

Kilcullen Financial Services has moved from its original location beside the Chinese Takeaway to a newly furbished premises on Hillside.

The new offices are in the former convenience store premises operated by Greg and Eileen Doyle, opposite the new Jackman's Gala store.

"We were six years in the old offices, and this is a much better location," says the business principal Stephen White. "Owning a premises is a major difference ... you only rent for so long, and then if you have the opportunity to buy, you get on with it."

Stephen is a tied agent for Canada Life insurances and financial services. But his next move is to provide an auctioneering service as part of the operation, and he is currently interviewing people for that extension of the enterprise.

"It means we can then offer a full and comprehensive home and financial service under the one roof," he told the Diary.

With the current rapid growth of Kilcullen, Stephen sees considerable opportunity for further growth for his services.
