DFA take DNG
John Dowling and John Fitzimons are among the first estate agents in the region to take on the franchise of Douglas Newman Good, the biggest agency in Dublin.
"We think it's the way to go," says John Fitzsimons. "The idea was launched last autumn and we've been thinking about it for a while. We believe that, because so many Dublin people are moving into the area, they will recognise the brand and it should be good for our business."
John told the Diary that 'everything will be branded' in the future. "You can even see it with businesses like pharmacies — many of them are going under brands like Unicare."
The DNG franchises have already opened in provincial centres like Cork, Galway, Tralee and Portlaoise, and one is due to open soon in Kilkenny.
